Making a Bushcraft Knife: The Woodlore Clone

I’m super excited to have been able to spend a few days in the shop making this Bushcraft knife. This knife is a clone of Ray Mears’ design for the best all around bushcraft knife, the Woodlore. It’s made from 1/8” think O1 steel, black and “white” acrylic liners with Black walnut scales. The handle is fixed with 1/4” brass pins and lanyard tube. The handle is shaped coke bottle style, and the blade is Scandinavian ground. The over all length is 8 1/4” with a 4 1/2”handle. this knife will be my new go-to, and I will be using this as my personal bushcraft knife for the foreseeable future, that’s how happy I am with its outcome.
