Making Sustainable Biofabrics from Seaweed | Science Project

Can you imagine clothing, handbags, or shoes made from seaweed? Seaweed biofabrics are just one of the new materials the textile industry is trying in an effort to engineer more eco-friendly fabrics. In this video, we will show you how to make biofabric from alginate, a powder extracted from seaweed. See how our fabrics turned out, and then try your own. The possibilities are endless!
