SRANSW 81's Leading Murray Basin line Grain Trains- 29/9/24

Video from the afternoon of the 29th of September 2024 and the former SRA of NSW 81 Classes are once again common sights on Victorian grain work as shown by 8142 and 8162 leading a couple of Murray Basin line grain trains on the same day.

First up is 7937V empties from Ararat to Ouyen led by 8142 and BL26, this train being caught first at Avoca and then snaking into Maryborough Yard for a crew change and a cross. A bit over an hour later we find 7934V from Birchip to Ararat powering south through Havelock with another 81 on the front, 8162 leading XR559 and BL31 on the Cargill WGBY/WGSY rake.

Trains seen in order are:
7937V- 8142 and BL26
7934V- 8162, XR559 and BL31
