Cryptanthus plant have striking foliage, thick, strappy leaves that come in various colors, including shades of green, red, pink, and purple.

Cryptanthus are low maintenance plants . They thrive in indirect light and prefer well-draining soil. They are drought-tolerant .

Cryptanthus plants prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as this can scorch their leaves. 

Like many houseplants, Cryptanthus plants contribute to indoor air purification by absorbing harmful toxins and releasing oxygen. 

Water Cryptanthus during the growing season spring to summer, keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering frequency in the winter months when the plant's growth slows down. 

These plants thrive in temperatures between 18-27°C during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night.

Use a well-draining potting mix .A mixture of Soil,compost coco peat, perlite or coarse sand works well. Good drainage is essential to prevent waterlogged soil, which can lead to root rot.

During growing period I use dry cowdung manure as a fertilizer in every two months . Avoid fertilizing during the winter season when the plant is not actively growing.

Keep checking your cryptanthus for common pests . If detected, treat them with neem oil. Pprovide good air circulation to plant and avoid overwatering to prevent fungal diseases such as root rot.
