Dark Fire Cloud & The Lightning Band play for the 2013 Unity Music Festival in the Slocan Valley, BC, Canada. The day before the event, due to local forest fire fighting efforts, a tanker rolled of a back road and spilled 37,000 liters of jet fuel into Lemon Creek and tragically went down into the lovely Slocan River. Emergency response teams evacuated some 1,500 local residents and closed the highway to anyone trying to get into the Slocan Valley the next day. This had a dramatic impact on attendance at the Festival. Irregardless, who managed to make it were all glad to have the festival to ease the trauma they were feeling about the local disaster. Dark Fire Cloud & The Lightning Band were among the days entertainers that kept the Dance & Celebration going. Glory Hallelujah!
