A Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 12MAY2024 HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY!!

This California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0543 MDT (3 min. early). P42s #71 & #50 powered the 8-car train to a stop with cat 7 to the station platform for passenger service. There was 1 departing passenger and 1 new patron. With a minute or two to spare today (train cannot depart until correct time) Kelly was kind enough for a quick chat. He can be seen in the right side of the frame checking time as we talk. Once the hands on the time piece pointed to the correct numbers, he gave the high ball and on a clear signal the Zephyr departed for Denver's Union Station as its next stop on the way to the other city (Emeryville) by the bay.
