Marlon had a difficult childhood in Nicaragua. His family problems pushed him to the streets where he was a gang member, drug addict, thief, and ultimately tried to take his own life.

Then a neighbor told him about Jesus and how God loves him. Through the persistence of that neighbor, Marlon eventually attended an outreach meeting. It was there that Marlon was transformed by the power of the gospel and decided to dedicate his life to serving the Lord.

Being from the streets, Marlon had a passion to reach the youth and those involved in gangs. That led Marlon to the ABWE Institute of Church Planters, where he was trained to share the gospel, research community needs, and plant a church.

Now, Marlon pastors a thriving church with many outreaches into the community for children and youth. His heart is to see those caught up in sinful lifestyles of drugs, alcohol, and gangs to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus and be transformed just as he was.
