Back in the north of Spain, we are going to the Autonomous Community of Cantabria to make one of its most spectacular routes, let's do it!!

We leave the town of Torrelavega, the second largest urban center in the region after its capital Santander, we take the road that takes us to Santillana del Mar, the town of the three lies (it is neither holy nor flat nor does it have a sea) impressive town medieval with the spectacular Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana.

Our second destination is Comillas, this time since, on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea, this town hides treasures such as El Capricho, by Gaudi, the Old Pontifical University or the Palace of Sobrellano.

We finish this route through the most medieval Cantabria in San Vicente de la Barquera, with its Castillo del Rey on top, this tourist town invites us to rest and have a well-deserved snack in one of its many hospitality establishments in front of the Cantabrian sea.
