A couple of weeks ago I had a patient named Buster come in and Buster is a beautiful, huge, two year old cat. Buster's parents had heard a big commotion and when they went and found him he was in the closet and was limping on one of his back legs. They don't know what happened to him and if he had fallen from somewhere.

They brought Buster in, we took an X-ray and we found that he had broken his leg at his hip joint. This is a common fracture we see in cats that fall or jump off things. We were able to bring in our orthopedic surgeon Dr. Davidson and she did a procedure on Buster.

We talked to Buster's parents and he is doing great at home and he's walking and able to use that leg normally now and they are so happy with how he's doing. They say that he's back to his normal self again. Buster is doing great.
