Javed Jaffrey is an Indian actor, voice actor, dancer, comedian, impressionist, and a politician. He was born on 4 December 1963 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Javed belongs to a Muslim Family and follows Islam. His father, Jagdeep Jaffrey, is a veteran comedian and actor.

His mother Sughra Begum was a Pakistani activist.

He has a brother named Naved Jaffrey and a sister named Muskaan Jaffrey.

Javed also has two half-sisters named Suraiya Jaffrey and Shakira Shafi.

Javed got married to Zeba Bakhtiar, Pakistani Actress in 1989. However, the couple parted their ways after a few years of their marriage.

He is married to Habiba Jaffrey.

The couple has two sons, Mizaan Jaffrey and Abbas Jaffrey and a daughter, Alaviaa Jaffrey.

Jaffrey made a huge impact on his debut, with the film Meri Jung (1975); his portrayal of a negative character was widely appreciated.

Jaffrey is not only a judge but also the co-founder of India’s first dance reality show- Boogie Woogie.

Jaffrey also gave his voice for a number of cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Don Karnage.

Jaffrey has been honoured with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television. In addition, he was also the brand ambassador of 1st India International Animation and Cartoon Film festival (2015).
