1. Bow lake viewpoint (on the roadside)
2. Peyto lake upper viewpoint ( a short hike from parking)

How long would the drive take?
The Icefields parkway is a 232km stretch runs from Lake Louise to Jasper. The absolute fastest you could make the drive is 3 hours however I would suggest you to spend atleast a day or two to enjoy the views to the best.

Best time to drive :
Open all year, unless avalanche conditions are too high. My opinion would be between mid June to early September would be the ideal time to drive around.

Do you need a car?
Absolutely! I highly recommend to travel by car since there are ample stops along the way and bus tours won’t be the best way to experience this.
