Inti Raymi, which translate to Festival of the Sun, is one of the biggest traditional celebrations within the Andes. It is a celebration where all the indigenous communities come together to give honor and respect to Taita Inti (Father Sun) and Pachamama (Mother Earth) for an abundant harvest. Inti Raymi is celebrated for 3 consecutive days which consist of sharing meals to community members, singing traditional songs, and dancing to the traditional rhythm of San Juan.
