Unboxing a CV18 10CV/18 (DET19 4074A) VHF transmitting double triode vacuum tube.
This valve is new & in its original box. (NOS New Old Stock, NIB New In Box). The valve base is a white ceramic UX7 7 pin & the valve also has two top connection caps. Printed on the clear glass envelope is 40P61 & a white label has the broad up arrow (British Government mark), P, CV18 & 10CV/18. Printed on the plain box is the broad up arrow (British Government mark), P, CV18 & 10CV/18. Handwritten is 4074A. Handwritten on one end of the carton is CV 18 & Equiv 4074A or DET 19.
The type CV18 has a heater filament voltage requirement of 6.3 volts. A commercial version of the CV18 would be the DEF19.
