Some people say that soft chambers don't work at all. Others claim they do exactly the same thing that hard chambers are capable of. The truth is, neither one of those statements is correct.

Soft chambers and hard chambers are obviously not the same, but that doesn't mean that one is good and the other is useless. In some areas, they're working very similarly, but in other areas their impact is vastly different.

Emerging research is starting to clarify what we thought we knew about soft versus hard chambers. Some of those assumptions were correct, but a lot of them were flat out wrong.

In this video, I'll explain the differences between soft and hard chambers, what it appears that each one can or cannot do, and help you decide which one is right for you.

The debate between soft hyperbaric chambers (operating at mild pressures around 1.3 ATA) and hard chambers (capable of higher pressures like 1.5 to 2.0 ATA and beyond) has confused patients and practitioners for decades. With a quick search online, you'll find extreme opinions on both sides claiming either that mild chambers don't work at all or that they work exactly the same as high-pressure systems.

Drawing from a recent head-to-head comparison study I conducted for my PhD, we'll explore what happens when you put people through the exact same protocol at two different pressures.

Whether you're considering HBOT for healing, have access to a mild chamber at home, or are trying to decide between clinic options, this video will help you make informed decisions based on research rather than marketing claims or outdated assumptions.

The answer isn't that one is better than the other. The answer is understanding what each pressure does differently, matching the right pressure to your specific goals, and varying your exposures over time to extract the most benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
