I returned to Friends Creek Conservation Area where I hiked the Sun Trail. I thought I was going to be disappointed by this trail, but I was pleasantly surprised. The trail wandered through fields and woods. The view at the overlook wasn't anything worth mentioning, but the trail to it was really pretty nice.

The hike ended with a small suspension bridge over Friends Creek.

All in all this was a very enjoyable hike.

If you hike here, check for ticks afterwards. I found one on my leg as I was getting in the Jeep.
