n Excel, Wrap Text and Cell New Line are two ways to display long text within a cell, making data more readable without expanding the column width.

1. Wrap Text
Wrap Text automatically breaks long text into multiple lines within the cell, based on the cell's width.
To enable Wrap Text:
Select the cell(s) you want to format.
Go to Home Wrap Text in the toolbar.
Once Wrap Text is applied, Excel will automatically adjust the row height to fit the text.
2. Cell New Line (Manual Line Break)
Use this method to manually insert a new line within a cell, giving you more control over where the text breaks.
To add a new line within a cell:
Double-click the cell to enter edit mode, or click in the formula bar.
Position your cursor where you want the line break.
Press Alt + Enter (on Windows) or Option + Command + Enter (on Mac).
This creates a line break at the cursor position, allowing you to separate parts of the text across lines as desired.
These methods improve the readability of text-heavy cells and help maintain consistent cell dimensions across your spreadsheet.
