Paper Mache Pumpkins- 3 - Making Paste and Top Section

Paste Recipe
6 Cups Flour
1 Cup White Glue
1 Cup Liquid Starch
~12 cups of water - per jeanluckyluc101
2-3 Tbsp of Salt (For mold control) - per Jade Vargas
or a cap or two of lysol for mold control per Dawn Fletcher

A tip from Shawna Sapp: One thing I do is poke a hole through that garbage bag top, wire string through and hang it to dry. I will reinforce the plastic with masking tape for bigger pumpkins that will be heavy. That way I can do top and bottom instead of waiting in between.
