Shekhar Kapur says "Firstly I would like to disagree with you as you think of Mogambo, however, I remember Ms Hawa Hawai from Mr India. When Javed Akhtar was writing I kept telling him that Mogambo would like this and that when it came to the question of how Mogambo's character should be and he said yeah I got it. I went to his place he said that his characterisation is Mogambo Khush Hua! and I thought to myself that he has flipped and he will ruin my career. But he said when this movie will release and people will hear this line then every time someone is playing blackjack then they will exclaim in happiness that Mogambo Khush Hua!"

Shekhar Kapur was born on December 6, 1945 in Lahore, Punjab, British India. He is a director and actor, known for Elizabeth (1998), Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) and Bandit Queen (1994). He was previously married to Suchitra Krishnamoorthi.
