1. Monkeys do not like the taste of chillies and peppers. So these are good repellants. And by spraying chilly flakes or pepper spray, you will also repel harmful pests from your plants.
2. Monkeys are scared of snakes. This method can work for sometime.
3. I have seen some balconies and terraces in Bangalore and in Delhi-NCR region, covered with grills. The gap among the grills is very little. Only sunlight and air or small birds can come through. It is an effective method.
4. You can grow many plants indoors, including some herbs and vegetables. Just need a bright window.
Please note that I am an animal lover and understand that monkeys are becoming a menace because their habitat is under threat. We all must work on protecting and conserving their natura habitats. None of the methods suggested by me are aimed at killing monkeys.
