Conqueror's Blade - Halberdier Sergeants - An Overshadowed Pike Unit?

So we are back with more Conquerors Blade as we take a look at the halberdier sergeants. In all honesty I had kind of expected them to be better than they were or at least I was surprised quite how outclassed/ overshadowed I felt my Fortebraccio Pikes. Anyone else experienced the same? Or perhaps just my poor playstyle with them?
