Nordstrand Audio Starlifter Bass Preamp/DI Quick Demo

Here’s a super quick demo of the new Starlifter Bass Preamp/DI from Nordstrand Audio and Rocket Surgeon Labs.
I used my Lakland 4-94 with flat EQ, strung up with DR Strings, and a TC Ditto Looper into an SWR California Blonde 1-12 amp. I used my iPhone 7 for video and Apogee Mic96k for the audio.
I only used the 1/4” output from the Starlifter right into the SWR California Blonde’s 1/4” instrument input with the EQ set flat.

I have to say that this preamp is built like a tank, very robust feeling and definitely feels like it will take the abuse that comes from gigging.
