Описание к видео Home Glass Hacks-Lesson 6- Making a Plaster Glass Blowing Mould from a 3D Print

In this video I am using casting plaster of paris, but you can also use builder's plaster either.
**PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO WEAR A PARTICULATE RESPIRATOR AND WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT MIX CONTAINERS OR SURFACES USED FOR FOOD. DO NOT DRY SWEEP FLOORS/SURFACES. ALWAYS WET CLEAN. DO NOT POUR PLASTER DOWN DRAIN-ALLOW PLASTER RESIDUE TO SETTLE IN A BUCKET OF WATER AND DRAIN OFF WATER**
This video is made for my glass students at UCA but is open to all to take technical direction and inspiration from. This is another making method you can do at home during lock down. The video shows the glass blowing mould making process. This is a process I learned whilst on an internship in Estonia. If looked after correctly these plaster, toilet paper pulp and saw dust moulds can last to 30 + units. If you are interested in the glass blowing process, or the glass design process then this video is great to go through to get an idea of how digitally designed and 3D printed forms can be realised in glass by the blow mould process. If you have any questions or feedback please leave them in the comments below.
