WWE Legends of Wrestlemania was released in 2009 by THQ. Just like the SmackDown games, Legends of WrestleMania was developed by Yukes however the game played VERY differently.

Promising to celebrate the rich history of WrestleMania by allowing players to relive, rewrite and redefine classic 'Mania matches such as Andre The Giant vs Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels and The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin, Legends of WrestleMania had a lot of promise. The Smack Down games had become a little stale around this point and adding a new spin-off game was seen as welcome idea. The problem, however, was that Legends of WrestleMania just wasn't a very good game.
