Fishing for Flounder (Fluke) in a Welsh Estuary - UK Sea Fishing North Wales

Описание к видео Fishing for Flounder (Fluke) in a Welsh Estuary - UK Sea Fishing North Wales

Arriving at the last hour of the ebbing tide, I visited a sheltered estuary spot targeting bass and flounder (also known as 'fluke' in some parts of the world). Despite being plagued by crabs for the first couple of hours, once darkness fell I connected with a couple of nice flounder. It was a beautiful settled night, with owls hooting in the woodlands behind me and the occasional 'plops' of jumping sea trout. The fish were caught on peeler crab and I was using a Veret Cosmico rod, teamed up with a Shimano Aero Technium reel loaded with 18 lbs Daiwa J-braid, a 60 lbs shock leader to which I attached a 'one-up, one-down' ledger rig. I was using a pennel hook set-up, with size 2 Aberdeens for the bottom hooks, and size 2 chinu hooks for the top hooks. Lead was a continental style white coated long stem pyramid weight. The flounder made a delicious meal grilled on the bone with an onion and garlic butter sauce. Please Like, Share, Subscribe, and Comment - I was always make every effort to respond. Thank you.
