Join us for Weekly Debate Classes with Christophe Humblot, every Wednesday at 6:30 pm IST - only on Zoom

Debate is a method for the precise analysis and examination of our external and internal worlds. It’s a fascinating process of inquiry and examination of all things that can be known. It’s where the inquisitive and clever set forth hypotheses for vigorous analysis in the pursuit of wisdom, where both parties together work diligently to use reasoning to dispel the affliction of ignorance impairing us all.

We will learn together in a playful way how to become more precise in our concepts and assertions in order to sharpen our minds and decipher the reasonings of the classical Buddhist texts, while keeping in perspective the Middle Way and the analysis of the Lam Rim points.

About the teacher:
Christophe Humblot is a French Dharma translator-interpreter since 2008 and he has been giving courses on meditation and Buddhist philosophy since 2010. He is a FPMT registered teacher.

In 2017, he joined Nalanda Monastery in France as teaching assistant and interpreter.

Christophe currently teaches at the Dharma centres of Choekorling and Ashkobya in France as well as Gendun Drupa Centre in Switzerland.
He is also interpreting the ongoing Masters Program of Nalanda Monastery, the Basic Program of Kalachakra Centre, the Shedra of Pema Yang Dzong Nyingma Centre, Exploring Buddhism of Jamyang Centre London, as well as Nalanda Diploma Course, batch 5 of Tibet House, New Delhi.

Open to all, beginners and experienced students alike! You do not need any background in Buddhism to join. No registration required.
