An unseasonably deep area of low pressure containing the remains of Tropical Storm Kyle will bring a spell of spell of very wet and windy weather through the second half of the week with gale force winds likely in the west on Thursday.

Next week looks set to remain unsettled with more spells of rain at times and temperatures will often be cool but could the start of September bring back summer?
