I'm living a frugal minimalist lifestyle and in this video I'm sharing how I budget. Living a minimalist lifestyle can save you a lot of money and is often better for the environment jeey!
I do believe in the law of attraction to some degree. I think it's important to send out good energy in term of finances, but also start acting in a way that creates abundance.
I recommend looking at you budget every 6 to 12 months to really keep on top of it and evaluate if everything still works/is on track.
Monthly bills are a big part of most people's spendings. Things like mortgage, rent, insurance, etc.
If you're able to cut back on those bills I would highly recommend doing so.
With everything I buy I ask myself one key question: "Do I need this?".
Asking myself this question over and over literally changed my spending habits!
It is such an important question because there's a big difference between needing something and wanting something.
You will be surprised how much money you can save if you don't buy what you don't need.
I also really recommend applying automatic savings. This helps you build and maintain an emergency fund for a rainy day. If you have big goals for your savings, you can of course aim for higher saving numbers.
And last but not least I always have a minimum amount of money in my bank account. Just for peace of mind. At the end of the month I put the remaining amount in my savings account or I replenish my minimum.
I hope you enjoyed the video and it gave you confidence to take your own finances under the loop.
Lots of love,
Delala
