welcome to my first ever youtube video :'~)
take a walk with me around asakusa, tokyo as i reflect on the 29 life lessons i learned as a fresh 29 year-old while living in japan as a foreigner.
these are not in any particular order and an overall reflection of my 20s — i share insights about growth, mindset, positivity, and my outlook on why i wanted to/still want to to live abroad in japan.

i don't want to mislead you into thinking i'm sharing life advice! this is more of my personal reflections, thoughts and stories. i'd like to believe that i've lived life unapologetically, authentically and without any regret so maybe you can also take a thing or two away from this video!

i'm slowly reaching my two-year anniversary of living in tokyo and life feels like it's on 2x speed. time flies when you're having fun! :~)

i filmed this on my birthday because i didn't want to keep waiting for the "right" time to start making videos - if i feel inspired, i should just do it. of course there were things that intimidated me, such as the goliath of learning how to edit videos, but i had fun! i felt like i grew in the process because i'm learning to do something completely new and foreign.
