Sulphate Resisting Cement (SRC) is a type of Portland cement specially formulated to withstand the harmful effects of sulphate attack. It is particularly used in environments where the concrete is exposed to high concentrations of sulphates in soil, groundwater, or seawater.

Key Features:

Low Tricalcium Aluminate (C₃A) content: Typically less than 5%, which reduces the risk of sulphate attack.

High durability: Especially in foundations, marine structures, and sewage treatment plants.

Similar to OPC in appearance but chemically optimized for aggressive environments.
