This week we explore two of the town's original General Stores starting with H.C. Phelps in North Greece and G.J. Wagg's otherwise known as Wagg's Emporium, AKA, Wagg’s General Store, AKA Wagg's Groceries and Provisions Located where Tim Horton's is today at Lake Ave, Ridge Road and Pullman Ave, a portion of G.J. Wagg's still stands today as apartments. If you google 17 to 29 Pullman Ave in Rochester, NY you can see where G.J. Wagg's general store stood it is the white outline on the bricks where his store stood.
