What is Nightcore?

It's a subgenre of Trance and it's characterized by having an high pitch and often an high BPM (beats per minute/song speed). Almost all of the Nightcore music are original tracks "remixed" (rise of BPM and/or rise of pitch).

There may be variations of Nightcore (very high pitch, etc.)

And NighTstep, what is nightstep?

Kinda the same but the original tracks are usually from dubstep genre.
