This is it - our SWISS Premium Economy Class in which travellers will enjoy greater privacy and enhanced inflight comfort.

From manufacturing to the final result: get a glimpse behind-the-scenes insight into the ZIM seat manufacturing process, our hangar where we accompanied our maintenance colleagues during the installation of the new seats in the first of twelve Boeing 777-300ERs until the final cabin, where you see how our new Premium Economy Class seats look like.

On our Boeing 777-300ER the new SWISS Premium Economy Class will offer 24 latest-generation seats, who feature a hardshell design that enables them to be easily reclined at no inconvenience to the passenger behind and whose fabrics are provided by the Bern-based Lantal company. We are the first airline in the Lufthansa Group to offer our customers this newly-developed ZIM Premium Economy seat.

In providing this new best-in-class Premium Economy experience, we are further strengthening our positioning as a premium air carrier, particularly in the growing leisure travel sector.
