Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a third-person action-adventure puzzle-platformer video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released worldwide in November 2003. It was published by Ubisoft in western territories and Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan. In the game, you control an unnamed Prince from a kingdom in Persia, navigating through environments seen from a controllable third-person view. The camera’s perspective changes as you enter different areas or perform actions. The story revolves around an arrogant young prince who discovers the mysterious Dagger of Time, which grants control over time. When he unwittingly opens the Hourglass of Time, he embarks on a quest to recapture the Sands of Time, enchanted sands that transform anyone they touch into hideous Sand Creatures.
