Its been a long time in the making. After 12 years of learning permaculture, working on other peoples land, I have been able to secure my own place. This was a long journey of learning, losing everything a couple times, and persevering to acquire this farm. At 6000ft elevation, the farm has some challenges. The climate is dry with less than 13 inches of annual rain fall. I am in the beginning stage of this farm homestead. I have plans of 2000 fruit and nut trees, combined with swales, and livestock to maximize production.
