The evolution of Hot Tent 2.0 continues. 8 months ago I set up this tent to camp with my family. It has been standing there ever since, taking everything mother nature decided to throw at it...Until we got a snowstorm that dumped about 10" of heavy wet snow here in New England . That storm pushed the tent to the point of failure. How did it fail ? Why did it fail? How durable is this tent? Is this tent worth building? That is what I aim to find out.
I built this tent from a tarp, Gorilla Tape and Flex Seal tape over a year ago. The result was a very large tent for cheap money! In that year I have received many questions in regard to the longevity of this tent. Many of your questions may be answered in this video. Many of mine were.
So , after 8 months of exposure to sun, wind , rain and snow...how did it do? What do you think about the condition of the tent after all this time? After seeing this video, would you consider building one of these yourself? Please let me know in the comments.
