Meet the latest of Our People - Apprentice Fabricator Matthew McHale.

Matthew was taking a year out after completing his Leaving Cert when the suggestion was made to try an apprenticeship and he's never looked back.

Matthew's dad is a Draughtsman so he was exposed to engineering from that side of things but he never studied it in school and wanted to get more hands on experience.

During his apprenticeship, Matthew has discovered his passion for welding, he's learning something new every day and really enjoys the variety of work and interaction with his colleagues.

We currently have 40 apprentices across all disciplines - electrical; electrical and instrumentation; mechanical and on the professional side, sales and accountancy - and we hope to double that figure in the coming years.
