SDFMU (SAMS) is a key university and the largest medical research institution in Shandong Province. In 2020, it has been selected into the construction of high-level universities in Shandong Province. The university has campuses in Jinan and Tai’an, and research institutes in Jinan, Qingdao and Jining, with a total area of more than 6,000 mu (400 hectares). Its Jinan main campus is located in the heart of Jinan International Medical Science Center, covering an area of 2,600 mu (approximately 173 hectares). Designed to be a green and modern campus, it will offer state-of-the-art facilities to faculty and students. The attractive Tai’an campus, located at the foot of Mount Tai, covers an area of more than 3,000 mu (200 hectares). Zhangqiu biomedical industrial park covers an area of 556.6 mu(37.10 hectares), with a construction area of 97,000 ㎡.
