💉 The Digital Blood Flow Test | 🩸 Digital Vascularisation

This is going to be a quick test to determine distal blood flow in the fingers. To perform the test, compress your patient's nail bed and note the time it takes for the color to return. Normally, the color should return within three seconds. If this is not the case, it indicates a positive test for arterial insufficiency in the fingers. As always, make sure to compare both hands to assess any restriction in blood flow.
