📍We spent the afternoon touring the many acres of Botanical Gardens at The Huntington. I can't believe we've never been here before! It's just outside of Los Angeles, near Pasadena, and is a sprawling estate with a ranch, massive library, and museum. And lots and lots of gardens! From Shakespeare-inspired statues to more species of roses than we ever dreamed could exist, to a stunning Japanese Garden complete with a traditional Japanese home, a desert garden with lizards, a waterfall in the jungle garden... this place goes on and on.

Advance tickets are required as they are limiting the number of people inside to allow for social distancing, which was not at all a problem when we visited. If you're interested in visiting, check the website in advance – linked below – for ticket availability and open information (as it may also be affected by local weather and/or nearby fires).
