Bernie is about to undergo knee surgery and we didn't think it wise to mix with too many people just ahead of it. Covid and flu could cause its cancellation and he's waited long enough. Although you wouldn't know it to watch him, he's exceptionally good at hiding the pain.

We are indeed extremely fortunate to live on the fridges of the Western Lake District and despite this fact, we always seem too busy with jobs at home to enjoy it.
