Daybreaker has a small trick she can use in phase 1. When DaB casts Ace right before the boss summons flowers that have black hole effect, she will be unaffected by it. But ideally, a party can freeze the boss when she's about to use the pattern, so the party can kill the boss with ease.
In phase 2, the gauge represents the damage reduction the boss has. By shooting the orbs to the portal or to the boss, the gauge will decrease by 10%/5%, and then boss will become less tanky. Therefore, it's highly recommended to do that pattern.
