Stan Rogers The Last Watch Halifax 1982

I somehow came across the full recording of the 1982 Halifax concert. Owning both In Concert and Home in Halifax, I was shocked to learn that this beautiful version of The Last Watch features on neither.

There is also a version of White Collar Holler which got missed out, I might upload it if I have time. The full concert might get uploaded eventually too, though I doubt it'd stay up very long due to copyright issues. Interestingly, some of the tracks like Bluenose aren't in the concert recording which means they may have been taken from the previous performance (see Garnet's book).

If you've read Garnet's book, I believe the concert follows much the same. It starts with quite a bit of clapping which turns to applause as the band comes out, Garnet then says "Well now we can have some fun" and they proceed with Witch of the Westmoreland.

Finally, another thanks to westernmaryland for all the Stan Rogers music they have uploaded over the past few years, the concerts are truly like no other.
