Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), has been arrested on the charge of misappropriation of cooperative funds in Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd.

After obtaining an arrest warrant from the District Court, Kaski, the police arrested Lamichhane from the central office of the RSVP in Kathmandu. Before his arrest, he gave a brief address to the workers.

The District Police Office, Kaski requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) to arrest and send him. According to that, a team led by Superintendent of Police Hovindra Bogti from the bureau arrested him.
