This is a hybrid multi body simulation using both flexible and rigid body. The software used is Finite Element Software Ansys.
The kinematics were realized using coupling conditions which allow large deformation (Joints).
The contact between the box and the ground is frictional non linear contact.
The contact between the box an the arm is bonded at initial contact.
What special in this model is the implimentation of modal based reduction CMS (Component Mode Synthesis). This Method allowed such huge transient analysis to run significantly faster than the normal method.
