In this video I wanted to paint a sound profile for the Monsgeek M1 V5 TMR, by comparing it to a well known mechanical switch only keyboard the Tomo Monokei x TGR. By using the same switches, keycaps and plate, along with a 75% layout, we eliminate most of those factors as being things that can cause the M1 V5 TMR to sound different from a normal mechanical keyboard. You will also be able to hear how much different and/or similar the M1 V5 TMR sounds when using mechanical switches compared to a keyboard that only supports mechanical switches. I'm hoping to make one more video of the M1 V5 TMR when I take the entire keyboard apart and we can get a little more insight into why this keyboard sounds the way it does and why it may necessarily need to sound this way to accomodate the technologies inside of it.
