The working material for the film Amsterdam’s Squares and Streets consists of a compilation of shots of squares and streets in Amsterdam.

Most shots are slow pans, with the camera moving from left to right. Some sequences are shot from a highvantage point, which leads to beautiful long-shots of the city. The images of Leidseplein with the news kiosk show the comings and goings of people and trams.
