"Make You Feel My Love" also known as "To Make You Feel My Love", is a song written by Bob Dylan for his album "Time Out Of Mind", released in September 1997. It was first released commercially in August 1997 by Billy Joel for his compilation album "Greatest Hits Volume III. According to Songfacts: Texas-born musician August "Augie" Meyers, who is best known as keyboard player with Sir Douglas Quintet and The Texas Tornadoes, played organ on the track. He recalled the recording of this song: "Bob's a fantastic piano player, when he wants to play. On 'Make You Feel My Love' he asked, "if you and Doug Sam were in the studio, how would you do it?" And I said, 'Well we wouldn't have two drummers, four guitar players, and stuff. I asked, "Did you write this on piano or guitar?' And Bob said, "I wrote it on the piano.' I told him, 'You play piano and I'll play organ. Let's have just one bass, one drum and one guitar.' So that's how we did it."
