Today I reviewed a generic LED tap light, which many also refer to as a LED push light. The reason why I call this a generic model is because this product is manufactured in China and sold under many different brand names. Don't be fooled by fancy names or how it may be packaged. Junk is still junk no matter how you package it.

You will find this tap light sold in many different stores including Amazon, Dollar Tree and most anywhere that cheap products are sold. And this product is cheap for a good reason - it does not work too well as can be seen in the video.

Intended uses include lighting dimly lit areas at home (closets, under cabinets, etc.), camping, in the workshop and in cars. If you use it camping, you may find yourself wanting to toss it into the fire, smashing it with a hammer if used in the workshop or running it over with a wheel if used in your vehicle.

The biggest problem with the LED tap light that I reviewed is that it has a poor connection that causes the light to flicker or go out completely. Additionally, it can be difficult to tap the light on or off and often requires it be pushed in a certain spot to get it to work. In my opinion, you will find the Energizer LED tap light linked to at the top of this review to be far superior and a better value because it actually works without all the headaches!
