She’s best known for her research into how environmental factors affect sperm counts and contribute to the male fertility crisis.

Prof. Dr. Shanna Swan demonstrated in her groundbreaking research that men are becoming infertile due to hormone-disrupting chemicals in plastic.

Her research shows that hormone-disrupting substances in plastic, especially plasticisers, contribute to a dramatic decline in sperm concentrations. She warns that this decline in sperm concentration is continuing every year and that the consequences are far-reaching for male fertility worldwide.
