Recently, the Royal Government has paid great attention to the construction of many important infrastructures, including roads, railways, bridges and airports, to facilitate travel and attract investors. And now we will mention two big projects that have been completed, just waiting for the opening day of the construction site. These projects include:


1. Friendship Bridge - Korea


Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge Completed About $ 250 million.


The bridge project will be built with high pillars to the top, curved to run the cable, and a span with a span that makes it easier for ships to cross under the bridge. Once completed, the bridge will facilitate travel, reduce congestion in and out of Phnom Penh, and connect to the Svay Chrum Noble Development Zone. According to the Korean Ambassador to Cambodia, the project will start construction in early 2025.

3. Third Expressway


A third expressway project connecting Phnom Penh-Siem Reap-Poipet is also being studied for construction. According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport recently, this road will be built through Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap and Banteay Meanchey.


According to a preliminary study from CRBC, the road project has a total length of about 400 kilometers and will be built in more than two phases. The first phase is Phnom Penh-Siem Reap with a length of 250 km and the second phase is Siem Reap-Poipet with a length of 150 km.
